On Friday the 5th July local band Wings Of Desire organised a very special event for their Stroud debut, bringing along none other than fellow Stroud District dwellers Tom Smith from the Editors for a rare solo acoustic performance and BBC Radio 6 Music presenter Tom Ravenscroft for a DJ set to the Long Table.
Wings of Desire played tracks from their forthcoming new EP Shut Up & Listen ,the proceeds of which will be going to the radical social enterprise and Pay What You Can food hub which serves over 40,000 meals to the community every year.
