Friday 7th March saw the launch night of ‘Broadcast’, an exhibition by renowned Stroud dwelling artist, illustrator and film maker (and regular Good On Paper cover artist) Joe Magee: “A series of all-new works which explore the way we communicate and the driving forces of communication that echo in the natural world. The images seek insights into nature’s rhythms, human culture and the patterns that bind us.”
Taking place at Prema Arts Centre in Uley Joe’s amazing new work was exhibited in the upstairs gallery space with examples of previous projects displayed downstairs and the evening also featured a pop-up performance by none other than celebrated solo theatre clown and musician Nancy Trotter Landry.
Local photographer Jonny Barrett drove on down to Uley to capture the event as part of our ongoing photojournal series…

‘Broadcast’ is on now and runs until Thursday 17th April, open for viewing Wednesday to Saturday from 9am-4pm. Head to prema.org.uk and periphery.co.uk for further info.
